Mindtree Limited is an Indian multinational information technology and outsourcing company headquartered in Bangalore, India and New Jersey, USA. It is owned by Larsen & Toubro. Founded in 1999, the company employs approximately 20,204 employees with annual revenue of $1 Billion. The company deals in e-commerce, mobile applications, cloud computing, digital transformation, data analytics, enterprise application integration and enterprise resource planning, with more than 339 active clients and 43 offices in over 17 countries, as of 31 July 2018

 

In August 1999, Mindtree Consulting Private Limited was founded by ten IT professionals of which three of them invested through an entity incorporated in Mauritius.It became a public company on 12 December 2006 and was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange. The IPO opened on 9 February 2007 and closed on 14 February 2007. The IPO was oversubscribed more than 100 times.

Hike for freshers is very generous.

Hiring Criteria

 Graduation Criteria:

1) B.E / B.Tech  in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/EIE/IS, etc).

2) Engineering candidates who have passed out in the year 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply.

3) M.E/M.Tech in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/EIE/IS, etc)

4) MCA graduates are eligible.

5) B.Sc (Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Statistics, IT) are eligible.

6) The graduation should be a Full-Time course recognized by Central/State Government of India.

NOTE: Only full-time courses will be considered (Part Time/Correspondence courses will not be considered).

Also, note that a candidate is expected to have good communication & interpersonal skills along with a good command of technical subjects.

 

 Academic Criteria:

1) A candidate must have more than 65% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma).

2) A candidate must have a minimum of 65% marks in graduation.

3) A maximum gap of 2 years is permitted in graduation.

4) A candidate should not have any pending backlogs at the time of appearing for Mindtree selection process.

 

Mindtree Recruitment Policies:

1) If a candidate has attended an interview with Mindtree within the past 6 months from the date of new application then he/ she is ineligible to apply.

2) If a candidate has been rejected by Mindtree in an interview, then the candidate is ineligible to apply again for 6 months post the interview.

3) If for some reason  Mindtree rejects the candidate's application, then the candidate is ineligible to apply. 

4) If for any reason a candidate, after applying in  Mindtree, misses the opportunity to give the interview then the candidate holds the right to apply again and can attend the selection process.

 

Documents Required 

1) All original mark sheets related to SSC (10th), Intermediate (12th) and Graduation are required to be produced at the time of interview. Also, please carry a photocopy of all documents at the time of interview.

2) A copy of candidate's updated resume.

3) Passport size photographs.

4) An original identification proof issued by the government of India (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter id, Passport etc.)

Selection Process

The selection process includes of 3 rounds. These rounds are as follows:
  • Written Exam 
  • Coding Test
  •  Interview(Technical and HR)

 

Written Exam

It is through AMCAT . Which includes the quantitative, Logical reasoning , Verbal English.

 

Coding Test

Coding  section consists of 2 questions from coding , wherein the student is required to code in any language of their choice.

 

Interview

 

Technical Interview

Questions are asked to know the understanding of the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may enquire candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if employed. It is limited to the project mentioned in resume and some basic OOPs questions. CS students will be expected to write codes in the interview.

 

 HR Interview

It helps to determine a candidate's personality. Questions can be of wide range starting from your introduction, Qualification, Experience, Industry specific experience, Courses done, your strengths and weaknesses, salary expectations, friends, family etc. . Be ready to take questions based on your CV - internships, projects, volunteerships and co-curricular activities.

Never say No when interviewer asks - Do you have any questions for me? Ask about company's culture and progress associated or something you want to know.
