Mu Sigma is an Indian management consulting firm that primarily offers data analytics services. The firm's name is derived from the statistical terms "Mu (μ)" and "Sigma (σ)" which symbolize the mean and the standard deviation respectively of a probability distribution. Mu Sigma is headquartered in Chicago and has a global delivery center in Bangalore.
Mu Sigma was founded by Dhiraj Rajaram, a former strategy consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in 2004. In 2008, Mu Sigma raised its first institutional investment round of $30 million from FTVentures (now FTV Capital). In April 2011, the company raised an additional $25 million from Sequoia Capital. In December 2011, the company announced a $108 million round of financing from Sequoia and growth equity investor General Atlantic. In February 2013, Mu Sigma received an investment of $45 million from MasterCard, which placed the company over the $1 billion (Rs. 6,895 crore) milestone.

Mu Sigma was ranked #907 on the 2012 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies. In 2011 the company was ranked 386, and in 2010 it was ranked 204. Rajaram, the company's founder and chairman, was ranked 37 on the Fortune Magazine 40 under 40 list in 2013.

Graduation Criteria:
Only full-time courses will be considered (Part Time/Correspondence courses will not be considered).
1) B.E / B.Tech in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/M.E/EIE/IE/IS, etc).
2) Engineering candidates who have passed out in the year 2018 & 2019 are eligible to apply.
3) The graduation should be a Full-Time course recognized by Central/State Government of India.
Please note that a candidate is expected to have good communication & interpersonal skills along with a good command of technical subjects.
Academic Criteria:
1) A candidate must have more than 60% marks in 10th and 12th (or diploma).
2) A candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
Mu Sigma Recruitment Policies:
1) If a candidate has attended an interview within the past 6 months from the date of new application, then he/ she is ineligible to apply.
2) If a candidate has been rejected by Mu Sigma in an interview, then the candidate is ineligible to apply again for 6 months post the interview.
3) If for some reason Mu Sigma terminates the candidate's application, then the candidate is ineligible to apply.
4) If for any reason a candidate after applying in Mu Sigma misses the opportunity to give the interview then the candidate holds the right to apply again and can attend the selection process.
Documents Required:
1) All original mark sheets related to SSC (10th), Intermediate (12th) and Graduation are required to be produced at the time of interview. Also, please carry a copy of a set of all documents at the time of interview.
2) A copy of candidate's updated resume.
3) Passport size photographs.
4) An original identification proof issued by the government of India (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter id, Passport etc.).

Mu Sigma Aptitude
It consists of questions on Quant, Critical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning. Questions are generally based on time & works, percentages, data sufficiency.
Video Synthesis
In this round, a video will be shown and you will be asked to summarize it. Here they will check your listening and grasping skills.
Group Discussion
GD sessions include simple questions and industry related topics or general topics as well. You need to think for some time about the topic and then discuss it. The topics are general and don’t need specific preparation.
Interview
Technical Interview
The questions are entirely based on the technologies mentioned in the Job Description. The candidate might be asked to write a piece of code, or an algorithm to demonstrate the knowledge required in the particular field. Questions might also be based on the tools and technologies used in past projects.
HR Interview
It helps to determine a candidate's personality. Questions can be of wide range starting from your introduction, Qualification, Experience, Industry specific experience, Courses done, your strengths and weaknesses, salary expectations, friends, family etc. . Be ready to take questions based on your CV - internships, projects, volunteerships and co-curricular activities.
Never say No when interviewer asks - Do you have any questions for me? Ask about company's culture and progress associated or something you wnat to know.
