OVERVIEW

In case of job recruitment, selection is the process to choose potential working persons for a company or organization.It directly affects the overall productivity of an organization. A right selection may increase the overall performance of a company & a wrong one may lead to material and financial loss. A perfect selection process can help to pick the most eligible candidates amongst all applicants.

 

They conduct both recruitment through on-campus and off-campus hiring. In the case of hiring for on-campus the first two rounds i.e. Written and First TR are conducted by  the company in the college premises. For rest of the rounds , the shortlisted canditates have to visit the company offices.There are many profiles offered by Efftronics; prominent among them are: Software Engineer, Embedded Engineer, Servie Engineer, PCB Designers,Integration Architect,Oracle Web Center,Application Programmer,System Engineer, Business Analyst,etc.

 

HIRING CRITERIA

Academic Criteria:

The Academic  Criteria in case of hiring by Efftronics is as follows:

  • B.E., B.Tech ( In case of graduation )
  • M.E., M.Tech (In case of post- graduation)
  • having atleast 60% in the graduation

 

Backlog Criteria:

In the case of hiring by Efftronics no backlogs are allowed. If there is a case of  backlogs , students are not eligible to apply for this job. Therefore, it is suggested  that the  contenders clear their backlogs during their academic career.

 

 Required Skills:

  • Candidates should have a sublime academic record.
  • They must be good at Communications skills.
  • They should be able to work  shift schedules.
  • Good soft-skills for being able to work in a multi-site development and in a multicultural environment.
  • Aspirants must have hard-working nature.

 

*Generally there is a bond period in the case of hiring by Efftronics. It  varies from 1 year to 3 years depending upon the roles and responsibilities and job - profile applied by canditates.

SELECTION PROCESS

There are totally 6 rounds in the interview which are stated as follows:

  • Written test
  • First TR
  • Second TR
  • HR
  • Phsycometric test
  • Physical test

 

Written Test:

It is seggregated into two :

  • First one being the Aptitude Test.
  • Second one being the Technical Test . Questions are based on the kind of profile offered by the canditates.Generally , it  includes all the basics of the  core subjects (Electronics and communications) and C programming.

 

First TR:

In First TR they asks the canditates everything about basics and they check is the minimum knowledge of the subjects.Candiatates have to be very particular and clear about the basics of each and every topic.


Second TR:

After completion of first TR, the selected canditates are informed  about the second TR .In this round they completely check your skills how the candiates are applying there  knowledge to the problem. They will give a real time problem and asks the candiates  to solve.

 

HR round:

It helps to determine a candiate's personality .Questions based on your resume are being asked to the canditates.  Questions can be of wide range starting from your introduction, Qualification, Experience, Industry specific experience, Courses done, salary expectations, friends, family etc.

 

Psychometric round:

This round is to check the candidate’s problem solving ability and his/her behavior under stress. This test a candidate’s helping nature and leadership skills etc.Canditates are given some questions, and they  had to write yes/no to those and on the basis of which they will decide candiate's  mental ability.

Memory tests  are  conducted to check ones concentration. They are asked to discuss about candiate's strengths, weakness and  future goals etc. These include questions like why are we not going for higher education, what you want to be in ten next year’s time. 

 

Physical Test:

The last one comprises of a physical test where some basic routine heakth test including  BP, Diabettes, height, weight, eye sight and color blindness are conducted.

PATTERN

Written Exam Paper Pattern for Efftronics is highlighted in the following statements:

  • The Written Test comprises of questions ; both of Aptitude ( Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning) and basic Technical questions ( depending upon the profile.
  • There are a total of 65 questions of 1 mark each that have to be ansswered in 75 minutes.
  • Quantitative Aptitude section consists of math's questions from the topics like algebra, time & work, speed distance time, probability, ratios, percentages, etc.
  • Verbal section questions were from the topics like synonyms, antonyms, identification of correct sentence etc.
  • Technical section questions were from topics like RDBMS like normalization, JAVA, C and OOPS.
  • Overall the level of the paper is easy to moderate. The candidates who clear the written exam only qualify for the next round.
  • There is a sectional cut off which is generally 50 % . However it may vary depending upon the performance of other canditates.

For E&TC profile, the following topics are of relevance in the case of Efftronics Technical Round:

  • Circuit theory and EDC: In circuit theory, the circuits are given and asked to find a node voltage or asked to design a circuit based on the theorems.
  • Digital designing:DIt is one of the most important topic and sometimes being taken as a seprate sub-test under the Technical Round. Various interview  experiences gives us a brief glance about this subject. In this, a 2 questions are generally asked. The 2 questions are one is to design a locker system based on the conditions given. Other is to design a price display machine where it calculates the price based on both weight and volume of a product and should display a price of maximum one.
  • Programming:Generally 2-3 programmes are asked in the Programming section by the interviewer
