HIRING CRITERIA

In case of job recruitment, selection is the process to choose potential working persons for a company or organization.It directly affects the overall productivity of an organization. A right selection may increase the overall performance of a company & a wrong one may lead to material and financial loss. A perfect selection process can help to pick the most eligible candidates amongst all applicants.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduates and post-graduates in Engineering(B.Tech & M.Tech)
  • Flexible to work in Shifts.
  • Should have good communication skills.
  • Should have a good hold on mathematics or must be good in calculation.
  • Must have consistent academic records from Class X onwards.
  • Candidates who have attended TVS interview or recruitment before 6 months need not apply.

Academic Criteria:

The candidates who are willing to join the TVS should  fulfill the academic criteria given below:

 
  • A minimum of 60 % in graduation.
  • B.E/B. Tech, B.Com, B.Sc, M. Tech, M.E, M.Com, M.Sc etc., can now apply for TVS Off-Campus.
  • The gap between their academic years should not be more than 2 years.
  • The candidates of all the above-mentioned categories are eligible for this drive.

 

Backlog Criteria:

The student who wants to apply for TVS should not have any kind of backlogs. In the case of, backlogs the student’s profile will be rejected.

 

 

 

SELECTION PROCESS

Following are the steps in the Selection Process in case of TVS Recruitment:

  • Online Test
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Round

Online round test comprises of two sections : Aptitude Test and Technical Test.

The first round i.e. the Online test or sometimes taken in offline mode; consists of an Aptitude Test comprising of the following sub-heads:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal Ability
  • Logical Reasoning

 

Second round  i.e. the Technical Interview part comprises of a test comprising of  questions focussing mainly on the kind of profile applied by the canditates.

 

Third round as a part of the recruitment process comprises of HR questions that are mainly focussed on Resume , internships carried by the canditates and other questions as to how the canditate is an asset for the company , why he should be hired , what are the qualities that differentiate him/her from other canditates.

PATTERN

Following is the Pattern undertaken by TVS in the selection process:

The total time allotted to answer the 100 questions is 120 minutes.

 

 

Following are some highlighted points which should be kept in mind in the above mentioned exams regard:

-The written exam contains both Technical and General Ability Questions (Aptitude, General Knowledge, and Reasoning).

-The number of questions in technical section varies from 70-80 depending upon the exam paper designed and the profile offered to the canditates.

       -50 and above  is the sectional  cut off. However it may vary according to the paper designed and the number of canditates applying for the post.

       -In exceptional situations company does have  negative marking as well.

       - The level of paper difficulty is equivalent to GATE exam.
