  • B.E / B-Tech in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/M.E/EIE/IE/IS  etc).
  • M.E/M.Tech Candidates are eligible to apply.

 

HIRING CRITERIA

Academic Criteria:
  • B.E / B-Tech in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/M.E/EIE/IE/IS  etc).
  • M.E/M.Tech Candidates are eligible to apply.
  • First Class (60% or above) in class X, XII and Graduation.
  • Maximum of two backlogs (reattempts) allowed.
  • No drop in any year/semester throughout course.
  • The graduation should be a full-time course recognized by Central/State Government of India.
 
 
Age Criteria:
 
  • Graduates of age not more than  years
  • Post- graduates of not more than 26 years.     
 
 
Academic Gap:
 
  • No Academic gap allowed during/middle of the course [for SSC, Diploma/HSC, Graduation (Bxx), Post Graduation (Mxx)]
 
 
SSC & HSC (Cleared in 1st Attempt Only):
 
  • 60% and Above
  •  Re-exam (Supplementary or Improvement exams) given soon after the Main exam will NOT be considered.
 

L&T policies:

  •  If a candidate has attended an interview within the past 6 months from the date of the new application, then he/ she is ineligible to apply.
  • If a candidate has been rejected by L&T in an interview, then the candidate is ineligible to apply again for a period of 6 months after the interview.
  •  If for some reason  L&T has terminated the candidate's application, then the candidate is ineligible to apply. 
  • If for any reason a candidate after applying in  L&T, misses the opportunity to give the interview then the candidate holds the right to apply again and can attend the selection process.

 

Documents required:

  •  All original mark sheets related to SSC (10th), Intermediate (12th) and Graduation are required to be produced at the time of interview. Also, please carry a copy of all documents at the time of interview.
  • A copy of the candidate's updated resume.
  • Passport size photographs.
  • An original identification proof issued by the government of India (Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Voter id, Passport etc)
 

SELECTION PROCESS

The company visits more than 100 prominent campuses in India to conduct campus recruitment. It also conducts much off-campus recruitment and walk-in drives too. The selection process for both is similar. The rounds may change from one campus to another. The rounds:

  1. Written Test
  2. Essay Writing
  3. Group Discussion
  4. Technical Interview  
  5. HR Interview

 

Written Test: 

The written test has a total of three sections. The total time allotted to the candidates is 120 minutes. The three sections are as folowa:

  • Quantitative Ability
  • Verbal Ability
  • Reasoning.

 

Essay writing:

This round is to test the candidate's ability to write properly. This is conducted as a part of the written test. Students are asked to write an essay on a given topic in 250 words. The topic can vary from any happenings in the current scenario to technology related. It is also a computer-based test. 

 

Group Discussion: 

The next round is Group discussion round, where the selected candidates are segregated into groups and are given a topic. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of their speaking skills and listening skills. A lot of people might be good at speaking but not listening to what other people say. This is an area of concern. A group discussion is about both listening and speaking. Learn the art of persuasive talk.

 

Technical Interview:

Students who are selected in the Group Discussion round are then sent for the technical interview. The questions are based on the skill-set that the job requires. This round is considered to be tough. 

 

HR Interview:

HR interview is the final round of registration. This would be mostly personal. Canditates  personality will be assessed in this round. Clearing this round is comparatively easy.
