HIRING CRITERIA

The strategy begins with bringing in the right people and Genpact does this through a number of ways; employee referrals, storefronts, online applications, campus recruitments and headhunters.

SELECTION PROCESS

Placement Process of Genpact has 4 steps:
 
1.WRITTEN TEST;It is divided into three sections- English Ability, Analytical Ability, Quantitative Ability and Logical reasoning consist of 60 questions with the total time of 60 minutes allotted to answer the test.
There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
*It has been observed that the written test pattern is not fixed; minor changes are made year to year.
 
2.GROUP DISCUSSION;The students who successfully clear the written test qualify for the group discussion round. The students are divided in small groups and a topic is given for discussion.
 
3.TECHNICAL INTERVIEW:Questions based on C, C++ and JAVA are frequently asked.Also, the students can expect questions based on their final year projects.
 
4.HR INTERVIEW:Students are expected to introduce himself/herself to the HR. The student can expect basic HR questions.

2. Group Discussion
GD sessions include simple questions and industry related topics. You need to think for 5 minutes about the topic and then discuss it. The topics are general and don’t need specific preparation. Nearly 50% of the candidates will be shortlisted here so you have to take chances to express your opinion.
 
3.Interview Process
Genpact Interview process consists of Technical Interview and HR Interview. Following are the details of each phase:
i)Technical interview
Questions related to specific technical fields are asked in this round. Questions may be based on specific knowledge about the company's technical activities; understanding of the technical work required to be completed as part of the job applied for or may enquire candidates to solve actual technical problems that they would be likely to face if employed.
 
ii)HR Interview
Final step to select a candidate as an employee is Interview as it helps to determine a candidate's personality. Questions can be of wide range starting from your introduction, Qualification, Experience, Industry specific experience, Courses done, your strengths and weaknesses, salary expectations, friends, family etc.
